John Biesemeyer
John is a U.S. Navy Veteran, former Search and Rescue Aircrewman, and construction executive with more than 35 years of experience in telecommunications, federal construction, and life safety systems. He understands firsthand the risks technicians face every day.
As the co-inventor of the Roof Edge Safety Mount (RESM), John combined decades of field experience with innovative thinking to create a safer, more efficient solution for servicing rooftop equipment.
John remains passionate about creating practical solutions that protect workers and raise the standard for jobsite safety. His mission is simple: reduce unnecessary risk, improve productivity, and help ensure every worker returns home safely.
Dave Warwick
Dave brings 46 years of mechanical design experience to the RESM, where he focuses on developing innovative worker safety solutions. He spent nearly 30 years in the defense industry, designing and managing structural and hydraulic systems for the Navy and Army, including integrated structural and performance testing.
In addition, Dave has designed stranded wire and fiber-optic conductors for commercial and medical applications, along with multi-conductor cable assemblies. He led the development of several disk brake calipers for a leading ATV company and built a comprehensive brake caliper test stand to quantify performance before vehicle installation. His expertise also extends to designing rooftop camera mounts that enhance site safety and technician fall prevention.
An expert in state-of-the-art CAD systems including Creo and SolidWorks, Dave is the sole owner and engineer of Maverick Engineering, where he developed the RESM and oversaw its first production run.
